Also discover Brussels by a beautiful walk : each with its own theme: the comic strip trail, the European district, Horta, the Mont des Arts and so much more ... We can suggest a nice walk through Brussels with a departure from Tervuren (at 7 km) with tram 44 along the majestic Avenue de Tervuren and than further by the Brussels metro/subway.
The medieval university city of Leuven offers a stunning gothic town hall and other historical buildings to visit in and around Leuven. Plan a visit to Museum M. This museum displays old and new art inspired by Leuven's versatility. The collection they show is mainly focused on the art production in Leuven and our province from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, including Constantin Meunier, Jef Lambeaux and Georges Minne. Or experience the award winning hololens to visit the Dieric Bouts collection in the completely restored Saint Peter's Church (see photo below).
If you want to clear your head go for a walk through the Great Beguinage (UNESCO World Heritage), or a visit to the oldest Botanical Garden in Belgium. It was created in 1738 for its students of medicine.
