Cycling - Mountain biking - Gravel biking

For cyclists who like to cycle nodes: know that B&B Aline Florentine is located along junctions 16 and 17 (map Dijleland, Flemish Brabant). So you can go in countless directions. Especially in our region, planes were spotted along the runway in Zaventem. 

Cycling to the University city of Leuven is even an option (+/- 40 km there and back). 

Or how about cycling through the countryside to Brussels? And by ‘the countryside’, we mean past fields, along old tram tracks under the trees, and through parks, right into the heart of Brussels. 

The majestic town of Tervuren is about 7 km away. 

Or perhaps you’d like to cycle the Brabantse Pijl (98 km)? The hexagonal signs are about 5 km from our B&B. 

Or perhaps try gravel biking? There’s the 136 km World Championship Gravel Route through the heart of the Brabantse Wouden National Park. Or explore a shorter 80 km route around and through the finish town of Leuven. 

So there are plenty of options.

If you prefer to mountain bike, we have some challenging routes for you here: 15.9 km blue loop (Colomba mountain bike route 64% off-road), 21.4 km green loop and if you can go more to Tervuren (8 km) you drive the green loop Moorsel of 16.8 km.

For renting bicycles in our area (electric high-quality bicycles) you can - preferably in advance - right at Poledor - fietsatelier en velocafé.

Alternatively, you can hire bikes in Leuven.

Mountain bikes can be rented - also in advance - from our partner The Shelter.

If you bring your own bicycles, we will store them for you.
